We are in the home stretch! I can’t believe it. It is so hard to believe that in just 3 months or less, I will become a mommy 🙂 Things are starting to get more real and I’m starting to get more anxious and excited! It doesn’t feel that long ago that we found out we were “finally!” pregnant! Now I’m entering the third trimester…. it really is crazy how much time is flying now.
Over the weekend we bought a few things for Peyton’s room! Home Goods is amazing and they have such cute things for babies. We bought a canvas painting, curtains, a little elephant chair (which I’m obsessed with), a keepsake box, and those little blocks that have numbers for weekly/monthly picture updates. My parents also ordered her crib this week which we are SO excited to set up!
I haven’t experienced any new symptoms this week… maybe I have but I can’t think of anything so that’s good I guess! I’ve been feeling pretty good. I have my glucose test tomorrow morning, yay -__- I have so many questions for this appointment so I’m half looking forward to it and half not.
Peyton is about 16 inches tall and weighs around 2.5 pounds. Her wrinkly skin isn’t so wrinkly anymore as she is gaining more fat which helps her regulate her own body temperature! She is dreaming, coughing, and practicing breathing. Go baby Peyton!
I’ll be doing a “second trimester must haves” blog, similar to the first trimester one, this weekend so you can see what I loved using during those weeks!
How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? Still at a 15 pound gain.
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? No new ones that I have noticed
Sleep? It has actually been a little bit better this week!
Best moment this week? Getting things for Peyton 🙂
Miss anything? I think this one should just permanently be a Jimmy John’s sub.
Movement? Yes. SO much last night that it took forever for me to fall asleep!
Food cravings? Sweeeeeeets, always.
Anything making you queasy or sick? No
Showing yet? Yes
Gender guesses? No guess! It’s a GIRL! ❤
Belly button in or out? Shockingly still innie, but a little flatter.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but a little tighter!
Happy or moody? Happy!
Looking forward to? Spending a nice long weekend with Aaron since he was away for work.
